    Health & Nutrition Expo at Edmeston Central School in Edmeston, NY

    The Health & Nutrition Expo at Edmeston Central School is an afternoon health fair for the students to enjoy healthy food and at the same time learn how to eat healthy and what it means to have a healthy lifestyle. There will be healthy food vendors set up around the gym and the students will also have a chance to have some hands on experience with cooking healthy food. keep reading

    Special Olympics of New York Fall Games

    Let the games begin! Team Chobani gathered in Glen Falls, NY as a proud Silver Sponsor of the Special Olympics of New York Fall Games. Athletes, coaches and families from across New York State united to compete in Olympic-style sports: bocce, cycling, equestrian, softball, soccer, and golf. Our volunteers enjoyed a truly inspirational day of soccer competition, building bonds with the determined athletes. The Special Olympics New York is the #1 Special Olympics program in North America and the 6th largest in the world, and we're honored to be a part of it. keep reading

    A Run for their Life

    On October 23rd, over 800 runners laced up for the inaugural “A Run for their Life” race in Syracuse, NY to benefit the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. Chobani was at the finish line to cheer runners on in the 5K and 15K races with a congratulatory snack. A cup of CHO is the perfect addition to a finisher’s medal, while supporting a ‘nothing but good’ cause! A Run for their Life is the only breast cancer run held in the Syracuse area, and all proceeds from the event go directly to SUNY Upstate Medical University. keep reading

    13th Annual Pumpkin Festival

    We had a blast at the 13th Annual Pumpkin Festival in Norwich, NY on October 29th. Local families stopped by the Carnival Community Tent to enjoy cups of Chobani, complete with granola toppings for a healthy DIY parfait. In between bites of CHO, kids and adults enjoyed a haunted house, children’s train ride, palm readers, face painting, a YMCA Halloween Parade and more! keep reading

    Chobani Champions Food Drive Challenge

    Be a champion in your neighborhood! We took to ours with the 2nd annual Chobani Champions Food Drive Challenge. 7 local schools participated in the challenge this year, rounding up non-perishable goods for those in need in our community. A bit of healthy competition was in play, as each classroom worked to acquire the most food items before the second annual “Giving to Goodwill” food drive at the Norwich Family YMCA on November 12th. During the food drive any item donated by children participating in the challenge was counted as “double the points.” keep reading

    2nd Annual Chobani “Giving to Goodwill” Food Drive

    The second annual Chobani Food drive took place at the Norwich Family YMCA on Saturday, November 12th. Community members dropped off food items from 10am to 12pm, and we delivered all donations to the local food pantry in Norwich. The food drive also marked the completion of the “Chobani Champions Giving to Goodwill Challenge” for 7 local schools. Chobani, coffee and fresh fruit fueled our amazing community members helping us do ‘nothing but good’! keep reading

    Chobani First Shot

    We had a slam dunk day at the Norwich Family YMCA on November 12th! The Norwich Varsity Girls Basketball Booster club hosted a free basketball clinic open to girls in 1st through 8th grade, encouraging fun and building confidence through sports and staying active.     30th Annual Norwich Family YMCA Turkey Trot

    Gobble, gobble! We’re fans of working up a good appetite, especially before a big Thanksgiving feast. Chobani Fit sponsored this year’s 5K run/walk on November 20th at the Norwich Family YMCA, and our very own employees, friends and family members sweated it out on the course. The event started with a ‘Neighborhood Fun Run’ for kids, with a Chobani Champions lunchbox for the winner. Enjoy those ‘nothing but good’ cups, runners and walkers! You deserve it. keep reading

    New Berlin Fire Department Donation

    Agro Farma donated $6,192.20 to the local New Berlin Fire Department. The donation was used to purchase equipment needed for the fire crew to properly respond to emergencies in the New Berlin area. keep reading

    The local United Way in Norwich asked Agro Farma to participate in their Chenango County Day of Caring project. Agro Farma put a team of employees together and volunteered at the local Big Brother, Big Sister program. keep reading

    Food Drive: October-November 2010

    In August 2008, the local Jewish Center of Norwich was badly vandalized and caused $200,000 in damage. To date, there are still many aspects of this historical structure that stand in disrepair. Chobani decided to organize a food drive for the community and tie it in with the Jewish Center. We decided that we would have 2 local schools donate food for the local food pantries and also have a drop off location at the Jewish Center to bring people there. keep reading

    Reece's Rainbow Project: December 2010

    Pathfinder Village partnered with Reece's Rainbow, a public charity which promotes the international adoption of children with Down Syndrome. Pathfinder Village is a wonderful local residential community in Central New York dedicated to children and adults who have Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. The funds raised by the Reece's Rainbow project help sponsor the adoption of waiting "angels." Agro Farma & Euphrates, Inc. were asked by Pathfinder Village to take part in this project and we said yes right away! keep reading
