Chobani SoHo Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Bright and early on Wednesday, August 1st, Chobani employees, NY government officials, media, and friends gathered together to celebrate the official grand opening of Chobani SoHo. What started out as a rainy morning miraculously cleared up for the event! Mother nature must be a Chobani fan.

We mingled and munched on sample yogurt creations from the store, amidst a spruced up atmosphere courtesy of food stylist Alison Attenborough. Fresh fruit overwhelmed the Harvest Table, surrounded by cups displaying ingredients from all of the store’s offerings.

Would you look at the size of these scissors!?

And who better to stand beside us on this special day than Lieutenant Governor (and self-proclaimed Chobaniac!) Robert Duffy?! He told the crowd that he eats Chobani every morning for breakfast.

Hamdi and Lieutenant Governor Duffy joined forces to cut the ribbon and officially welcome Chobani SoHo to the city of New York. A big moment!
