The moment August hits, we get the sudden feeling that it’s in our very best interest to abandon everything on that “to-do” list and take the rest of the summer by storm. Rational? Perhaps not. But one can’t deny the glory that is summer. Yep, we’ve seen that Halloween candy creeping onto shelves; fall fashion popping up around town. No – this is NOT okay. It’s still hot! The beaches are still bustling! We see that perfect sun shining. Summer is still here. And we vow to enjoy each and every last morsel of it.

Nothing honors summer quite like a hot grill and some delicious seasonal fruit. So (obviously), we put the two together for ya. And because peaches are at their peak, we’ve got a simple grilled peaches recipe that will have you wondering “Where has this delicious grilled fruit been all my life?” But wonder no more, and rest assured that you’ll never have to live another day without one of summer’s most simple and delicious pleasures. Now let’s get to grilling!

Grilled Peaches with Chobani and Honey

Grilled Peaches with Chobani and Honey

Ingredients:

6 peaches, halved and pitted
6 oz Plain 0% Chobani Greek Yogurt
a handful of fresh mint leaves
honey for drizzling

Directions

1. Grill halved peaches for 5 minutes, or until semi-soft.

2. Remove from grill, let cool for a few minutes.

3. Top with a small scoop of Chobani.

4. Add a mint leaf (or chopped if you prefer).

5. Drizzle honey on top of grilled peaches.
