FroCHO with Roasted Peaches & Bourbon #madewithchobani

When the weather heats up, we all get excited. It’s time to put those long-sleeve days behind us and soak up some sun. Naturally, after a long day in the sun, there’s nothing better than a refreshing, icy cold treat. Enter: Frozen Yogurt. We take on ice cream by pairing our delicious froCHO with roasted peaches and bourbon. Yeah, you read that right. See the recipe here!


Frozen Yogurt with Roasted Peaches & Bourbon Yields: 1qt

1 quart Chobani 4% Plain Greek Yogurt

1 cup Sugar 1 bean Vanilla Bean-scrapped

1 pinch Kosher Salt

3 Peaches (ripe), cut into wedges

1 stick Sweet Butter

½ cup Brown Sugar

1 cup Bourbon

Frozen Yogurt Directions:

1. Add all ingredients to a bowl, whisk till sugar is dissolved and vanilla bean pulp is incorporated.

2. Place mixture in ice bath and chill to 45oF.

3. Spin frozen yogurt in the machine.

4. Place in a freezer for 4-5 hours.

5. Serve.

Roasted Peaches & Bourbon Directions:

1. In a pan, melt the butter.

2. Once the butter is melted, add sugar.

3. Once the sugar is melted, add the peaches and cook until caramelized.

4. Remove the pan from the flame, add the bourbon.

5. Slowly place back on the flame to cook out the alcohol.

6. Keep cooking till the flame burns out.

7. Let cool and serve.

Serving Suggestion:

1. Top frozen yogurt with peaches and bourbon sauce.
