Jasmine tea-based beverage with vanilla and lavender essence. Refreshing and perfect for a summer day. Recipe by Anthony Ragler.
In a tea steeper, combine jasmine tea leaves and lavender flowers.
Heat water to 175ºF and steep tea leaves for 3 minutes.
In a separate container, decant tea concentrate and add salt.
In a pot, combine water and sugar; bring to a boil.
Add vanilla to simple syrup mixture and allow to sit for 30 mins.
Decant into pourable containers. (Yields enough for 5 servings.)
Combine tea concentrate and simple syrup in a mug.
Steam non-dairy oatmilk; pour over tea concentrate and vanilla simple syrup mixture.
Fill a glass with fresh ice.
In a bartender shaker, add tea concentrate, vanilla simple syrup, non-dairy oatmilk, and ice. Shake for 30-45 seconds.
Using a strainer, pour beverage into the glass with fresh ice.
