Classic flaky biscuits with a chive and sharp Cheddar twist.

Preheat oven to 400ºF.

Combine dry ingredients and pulse in food processor. Add in butter cubes and pulse until coarse meal forms.

Add to wet ingredients and fold, being careful not to overwork dough. Roll out dough to 1" thickness and cut dough in half. Take one half of dough and stack it on top of the other half for tall flaky layers.

Roll dough out again to 1" and cut out 10 biscuits with 3" circular dough cutter. Alternatively, cut squares for additional yield.

Place biscuits on half sheet tray lined with parchment paper.

Chill in freezer for 10 minutes, remove, and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until done.
