Our two-ingredient labneh practically makes itself. You’ll just need Chobani® Whole Milk Plain Greek Yogurt and a bit of salt. The magic happens—the whey is strained—in the refrigerator over 24 hours, creating a thicker yogurt. Serve as with savory seasonings as a dip or spread.

Step 1

Add kosher salt to yogurt and stir to combine.

Place a colander or sieve over a larger bowl. Take a 2-ft. piece of cheese cloth and unfold it, then re-fold it to make a 4 layered square.

Place the cheese cloth over the colander and add the yogurt to it. Fold the sides of the cheese cloth up around the yogurt to make a ball.

Place a layer of plastic wrap over the top of the yogurt ball wrapped in cheese cloth to cover, place a weighted item on the ball to push down on the yogurt, helping to release the whey into the bowl below.

Place all of this in the refrigerator for 24 hours for a firm thickened yogurt with the texture of cream cheese.

Remove labneh from cheese cloth and keep refrigerated in a sealed container for up to 10-14 days.
